In short video, the opening is everything. If you don't catch the viewer immediately, they never see your offer, however good it is.
Four openings that work
- A question that touches the viewer's problem directly
- A striking final result, then how we got there
- An unexpected visual movement in the first shot
- A number or fact that goes against expectations
After the opening
Keep the video to one idea. A video explaining three benefits is forgotten, and one explaining a single benefit is remembered. Add on-screen text, since many people watch without sound.
Where AI helps
In producing the opening shot that is hard to film: a product forming out of smoke, a room furnishing itself, a car emerging from light. Shots like these used to need a full crew.
The ending
Close with one clear call: message us, visit the branch, order now. Don't leave the viewer wondering what to do.
